Information we collect

HumanVerified stores organization records, team member records, Human IDs, message verification records, suspicious-use reports, and administrative activity logs.

Public information

  • Display name
  • Job title, if provided
  • Organization name
  • Human ID and its status
  • Issue date
  • Location, if provided
  • Email or phone only when explicitly designated as public

Private information

  • Private email addresses and phone numbers
  • Organization private contact details
  • Administrator notes
  • Audit history
  • Login and account information
  • Report contents and reporter contact details

Private information is never made public automatically. One organization's private information is never visible to another organization.

Verification records

A verification record contains the code, communication type, an optional short message excerpt, and an optional recipient reference. Recipient phone numbers, email addresses and full names are not required.

Cookies and analytics

HumanVerified stores a session cookie for administrators only. Verification analytics are privacy-conscious counts of page views; we do not build visitor profiles.

Data retention

Human IDs and verification records are retained permanently so historical communications remain verifiable. Human IDs are never deleted; they are suspended or revoked.

Your rights

To request access, correction, or removal of information, contact the administrator of the organization that issued the Human ID, or the HumanVerified platform administrator.
