Verification Policy

Human IDs

A Human ID is a unique identifier issued by an organization administrator or platform administrator. IDs follow the format HV-XX-000 and are globally unique across HumanVerified.

What verification confirms

A verification record confirms that the identified person personally reviewed and authorized a specific communication. It establishes accountability — a real person is standing behind the message.

What it does not confirm

HumanVerified never claims proof that a message was not written by AI, and never certifies the accuracy, legality, or financial content of any communication.

Suspension and revocation

IDs and verifications may be suspended (temporarily invalid) or revoked (permanently invalid). Organizations may also be suspended or revoked; their profiles then display a warning. Historical records are retained.

Privacy

Only information explicitly designated public appears on verification pages. Private contact details, notes, and audit history are never published.
